Delivering consequential and sustained benefits to — and appreciably improves the lives of — people within our communities.

Doosan Day of Community Service

Being a good corporate citizen is an ongoing responsibility. Multiple times per year, hundreds of Doosan and Bobcat Company employees across North America take part in Doosan Day of Caring in their communities.

They participate in a variety of tasks that include working at local food banks, schools and medical facilities; interior painting and cleanup at community centers and food pantries; holding used book drives at local libraries; and performing construction tasks at community recreational facilities and homeless shelters. Employees look forward to volunteering – both in interacting with colleagues and having the opportunity to serve others.

Cleanup After Natural Disasters

Hurricane Relief

Dating back 50 years to Hurricane Betsy that struck the Gulf in 1965, Bobcat equipment has been on the scene helping communities recover from natural disasters. Today, when you see a news story involving disaster recovery, more often than not you will also see a familiar white loader on the scene. Although Bobcat Company cannot be everywhere disaster happens — the owners, operators and dealers of Bobcat equipment are there. We are proud to support them in every way we can.

Tornado Relief

A tornado touched down on Brian Kelbing's property, taking memories, belongings and his garage with it. Fortunately, volunteers from Doosan and Bobcat Company quickly arrived with equipment, a covered trailer and all hands on deck to help clean-up. They used Bobcat equipment to clear the debris so salvageable items could be sorted. Although keepsakes were destroyed during the tornado, Kelbing says he was glad no one was hurt. He’s grateful for the support he received from Doosan and Bobcat Company to help put the pieces back together.
