Towing

A Toolcat 5600 travels with a ski boat attached to the 2 in. hitch.

With a 4,000 lb. towing rating, you can pull most trailers with confidence. With Toolcat™ utility work machines, you’ll have more capacity than a utility vehicle and more maneuverability than a pickup truck.

The Hydrostatic Braking system provides primary stopping power. As the travel pedal is depressed on the Toolcat 5600 or 5610, it commands a flow of oil through the system, which in turn causes the machine to move. When the operator releases the travel pedal, the pump de-strokes, slowing and stopping the flow of oil. This, in turn, slows and stops the vehicle.

The secondary multi-disc wet brake system utilizes spring-applied, pressure release multi-disc wet brakes on each axle to provide more aggressive braking when you need it. The use of the multi-disc wet brakes only during demanding braking applications minimizes wear to the components.
