Used Equipment Extended Service Protection Plan

You can’t predict the future. That’s why the Used Equipment Extended Service Protection Plan (ESPP) adds peace of mind to your used equipment purchase (For U.S. Customers Only*). Provided by EPG, a leader in extended service contract business for the compact equipment industry, the extended service protection plan can help to minimize the costs of unexpected equipment repairs. 

For a minimal investment – often less than the cost of one repair – you can protect your machine’s major components. Extended service protection plans are available for equipment outside the base warranty period. The ESPP provides coverage against defects in material and/or workmanship after the manufacturer’s standard base warranty has expired. Coverage is available for any qualifying out-of-warranty Bobcat® machine, including loaders, excavators, Toolcat™ utility work machines, telehandlers, and utility vehicles that meet qualification requirements. Coverage Options

Choose the coverage option that’s right for you.

• Powertrain: covers the Engine and all internal lubricated components within, Transmission, Axles and Hydrostatics.
• Powertrain + Hydraulics: covers the Engine and all internal lubricated components within, Transmission, Axles, Hydrostatics and Hydraulic components.
• Premier: a more comprehensive type of coverage that includes both Powertrain and Powertrain plus Hydraulic covered components along with additional specified items.  Only available on machines with less than 2000 hours.

Eligibility, Terms and Conditions**

• Eligible Type Machines: All used Bobcat types and models that meet the qualification requirements. Attachments and trailers not included.
• Age Criteria: Less than 8 years and 7000 hours (machines over 3000 hours require oil analysis).
• Terms: Up to 60 months or an additional 5000 machine hours.  Available terms are based on equipment type, models, age and the current hours on the machine at the time of sale.
• Deductible: $0 .
• Conditions and Limitations: Purchased only at the time of the retail sale. Customer is responsible to perform regular scheduled maintenance. All claim repairs must be performed by an authorized Bobcat dealer; this ensures the use of genuine Bobcat replacement parts installed by a trained Bobcat technician.
• Transferable: ESPP may be transferred to a new owner with no fee, which enhances the equipment resale value.
• Coverage Limit: 50% of Retail Sale Price
